    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) is proud to announce the graduation of five new Firefighter Paramedics. The graduation ceremony took place today at the Galt Museum, recognizing their hard work and dedication as they prepare to serve the Lethbridge community.

    Starting on Tuesday, November 12, 5 Avenue North will be fully closed between 36 Street and 39 Street for road and railway crossing repairs.

Led by Economic Development Lethbridge (EDL), this will be the eighth Team Lethbridge visit since 2008.

  • Northside garage fire under investigation

    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) responded to a residential garage fire at the 1000 block of 16 Street North on Friday, November 1, at approximately 11:00 p.m. Firefighters from four fire stations arrived to find the garage fully engulfed in flames

  • Veterans Avenue naming, plus information for local Remembrance Day ceremonies

    Leading up to Remembrance Day, the section of 4 Avenue South between Stafford Drive (9 Street) and 11 Street will be temporarily renamed Veterans Avenue. The Lethbridge Remembrance Day Committee also has two concurrent 2024 Lethbridge Remembrance Day Services set for Monday, November 11.
