Residents may see and hear Royal Canadian Air Force planes and helicopters overhead and see Search and Rescue Technicians parachuting between June 5 - 12.
Water main replacement work begins this morning along 2 Avenue South between Scenic Drive and 5 Street South. This will temporarily close sections of the road as work is completed.
Motorists are advised the outside southbound lane of Scenic Drive North at the Highway 3 turn-off area will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 5 for approximately 5 hours.
This amendment will allow the continued use of Assisted Living Residential Care Facilities and Supportive Living Residential Care Facilities without the age restrictions that exist today that allow only seniors to be housed at this location.
