As part of Alberta’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program, the City of Lethbridge is excited to announce an expanded list of household recyclables. Starting October 1, Lethbridge residents will have more flexibility with how they recycle at home and at recycling stations. 

Wednesday, September 30, is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

Monday, September 7 is Labour Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

A smoother drive is coming soon at the Waste & Recycling Centre (WRC).

Starting Sunday, August 23, construction will begin at the main intersection within the WRC and east road to the public and commercial drop-offs.

Starting October 1, Alberta's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program will enter Phase 2. This transition will extend residential curbside recycling service to several communities that were previously exempt from the program. 

Monday, August 3, is Heritage Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

Three years into the curbside organics program, the City of Lethbridge is looking for feedback on how residents use their green carts.

The City of Lethbridge’s Waste & Environment department is hosting a Compost & Mulch Giveaway tomorrow, June 24, from 1 – 4 p.m. at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena (east parking lot).
