What Happens When You Don't Pay Your Taxes
We're Here to Help
At times, paying off financial debts can be challenging. Unpaid property taxes may put your home at risk of being auctioned off at public auction, held annually at the beginning of April. If you're facing difficulty paying your taxes, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're here to discuss potential solutions to your property tax debts.
Our Tax Arrears Payment Plan (TAPP) is a monthly payment option designed to assist you in reducing your debts. Upon successful program completion, we'll reduce the penalty amount owed in half. Please call 311 or email tax@lethbridge.ca to determine if this program works for you.
If you're already part of the TAPP program, we appreciate your commitment.
